One of my end users wants to add a .net depreciation function so that they can use it to create simple depreciation forcasts. There are some spreadsheet like depreciation functions that work well in .net but can they do this via the ad-hoc report UI or do we have to craft a function that they can add. SDB, VDB, do depreciation calculations in .net. There are other financial functions that are used too.
Any way to add these other than SQL Server functions?

If we understand you task correctly, you can compile a .dll file with the necessary features for users and connect it in the designer or add the code of these functions in the designer tab Code.

Thank you for your reply. How do we do just what you are suggesting? Can you point me to the user guide that shows how to do this, or an api guide, or something. We do not have the source of this product, just the binary distribution.
