Page footer steals fields from Container / panel.

I have a report with a quite a lot of headers, data bands etc. in most cases it prints as one page because a lot of fields are only printed when not empty.

One of the elements of the report is a container, if this container (with Groupheaderheaderband, databand, and Groupfooterband) comes on top of the pagefooter during design the pagefooter steals fields from the container.

If I move the container the fields are left behind in the pagefooter. The same occurs with other groupfooters on the page.

Is there a way to bind fields to their band or container?
