Geographical Maps

Hi,

Is it possible to create maps in stimulsoft with data plotted onto them?
For example, a map of the uk, with points representing locations based on longitude & latitude?
I have seen this done with MS SSRS, but not in Stimulsoft.

Unfortunately, we do not have plans to develop this feature in our Report Engine. Sorry.
But we have plans realize it in Report Server in nearest future.

Is this for technical reasons, or do you not see a need for it outside of those using your server product?
It is something I have been asked for by customers a few times for sales by region type reporting - I believe Telerik also offer this feature in their report tool.
Is it possible to 'plug' a third party component into stimulsoft - maybe I could take this approach?

There is a way to use maps in a report.
Here is a sample how you could do this.

If this is not that you need, you could create a custom component. The sample project you could find in the Samples folder.

Yes, you could select the online map and specify columns with coordinates there.
