Is there a way to hide category level in business object tree?

Hi,

We have a business object tree where the category name and the next level business object name appearing the same.
We use dataset to register the business object and the dataset name is appearing as category name and as well as next level tree item.

Is it by design? is there a way to hide or do away the category level?
