Show preview during rendering

Hello,

The Window of Preview is shown after the rendering process has finished. If we want to see a preview of a report with several 1000 pages the user has to wait quiet a long time.
Is it possible to show the already rendered pages during rendering without stopping the rendering of the report ?
After stopping the rendering process it would be great to be able to continue the rendering process at the point where it was stopped.
Is this possible ?
