Large DataSets

Hello,

We recently implemented the flex control and we are starting to building reports. We have noticed that when we query tables with large datasets that the report times out and fails. We are looking for a way to either pass parameters to the data source at run time or some other way that we can handle large (>500k rows) table datasets.

If we set limits on the datasource query the reports run fine. We are using version 2010.3 of the flex control.

Hello, Rick

Unfortunately, at this moment there is a limitation in Flash - 15 seconds to execute a continuous script. As a workaround of this restriction, we need to change the report engine, that would be processed in several passes.

This seriuos changes we plan to do after the release of version 2011.1.

My dataset has 6000 records, little number for such a problem like this.
