Error message setting 'Multiline'
Error message setting 'Multiline'
We are having problems with a report that we have created.
We cannot print or save it as a PDF.
The error message is “Cannot set properties of undefined (setting 'multiline').”
Therefore, we have upgraded Stimulsoft for our customer.
But there has been no improvement. We still get this error.
I thought I would try using a report which has worked perfectly for years.
However, I am now getting the same error when using this document.
Could you please help me by letting me know what the problem is?
Please see enclosed both json files

Re: Error message setting 'Multiline'
Hello,
Could you please clarify whether you are exporting the report from code or directly from the report designer?
Also, please send us a sample report(.mrt file) with test data that will allow us to reproduce the issue on our side.
Thank you.

Re: Error message setting 'Multiline'
We are exporting from the report designer.
I cennot tell if there is a possibility to get a mrt file.
But I will contact our developers if we have something like that.

Re: Error message setting 'Multiline'
Does this really mean, the reports that I have sent in cannot be used?
I have to update a system, that can cause me severe issues afterwards just to get a report, that is needed now instead of later?
Ok. Thank you. This is very unfortunate.
But we are not going to update our system in the near furture.
I just did it for testing and reversed it, because I found issues which I have to investigate first.
Issues I do not want to work with.

Re: Error message setting 'Multiline'
Hello.
OK. You can upgrade whenever it is convenient for you.
We identified that the issue was caused by the Editable property being enabled for certain report components.
When these components were used together with a signature, the error was triggered.
Thank you.
