Images disappear after exporting reports to Excel

Hi everyone,

I'm Elira, currently using Stimulsoft Reports.NET in an ASP.NET Core application. I've come across a strange issue when exporting reports to Excel. Everything looks correct in the report designer and preview, including company logos and product images, but after exporting to .xlsx, some images are missing or replaced with empty placeholders. The problem seems to occur more often in reports that contain grouped data and multiple image components.

I've verified that the image sources are available during report generation, and the same report exports correctly to PDF without any missing graphics. I can reproduce the issue consistently on different machines, so I'm wondering if there's an export setting I'm overlooking or if this is a limitation of the Excel export engine.

Has anyone experienced something similar or found a reliable solution?

Could you please clarify what version you are using?

I had a similar issue with the Excel export. In my case, updating Stimulsoft to the latest version fixed it. It also helped to make sure the images were embedded rather than relying on relative file paths during export. PDF worked fine for me too, so it seems to be specific to the Excel export.
