I'm playing around with the escape codes feature for dot-matrix-printing on an Epson receipt printer.
It works as expected, but I can't think of an easy way to handle mixed font sizes.
Let's say I print a header line centered with the normal 12x24 font. Now I want to print the data with a smaller 9x17 font, so I just add the corresponding escape code in front of it.
So far, so good - but the problem is, that the smaller text wraps at the same text width as the normal text.
I guess what I need is a way to specify the X/Z zooming per line or band, which isn't possible and probably never will be.
Any bright ideas?
Tobias

Hello,
Theoretically it is possible to scale of the line by X-axis if in the text escape-sequences to change the font are met.
Our team leader said that we will start our work on solving this problem not earlier then in autumn unless there are no tasks of higher priority.
Thank you.
