Validate data fields generated automatically

Hello,
I downloaded the demo version of stimulsoft.web for evaluation.
I create a variable and define the user must inform the value is to validate the data reported? (For example a field
date to validate that a date is valid directly in the report).

i create a variable on the report, then the report automatically create a field on the report.
i defined the field as Date and stimulsoft generate a textbox and a datepicker.

i want to know if it's possible to verify the date inputed into the textbox, because the user can write anything on it.
