Chart Series Labels - Substring

Hi guys,

I want to substring my pie chart labels. They are in a 2 column layout. The problem I get is when the label lengths are long the chart does not appear. If I change the argument column to a data column with shorter data length the chart works again. I assume I need to substring my labels.
