Maybe you could add a property to show/hide the toolbar in the ribbondesignercontrol? Because in the 'old' designer control there never was a form toolbar.
The smooth overlap between the form and control is not important. Just would like to get something like the image I created below:

Hello,

We have added the ShowQuickToolbar static property from StiRibbonDesignerUserControl. The patch is available in prerelease build of on 21 July 2011.

Also the globalgui style property seems to fail

Unfortunately, on the current moment that works "as is". We do not have plans to develop this feature, on current moment.
