Excel Data Adapter ?

Post by jmiller »

Is there a data adapter available for Excel? In my list of data connection types I see one for access but nothing for Excel. I know there are ODBC drivers available for Excel but I wanted to see if there is a recommended data adapter to use with Excel files.

Please, try to use OleDB. See the sample report in attachment.

Thank you.

I am running into a problem. I have a 64-bit machine but the OldDB driver seems to only work in 32-bit. Ideally, I would prefer to continue to run Stimulsoft in 64-bit. Do any of your data adapters access Excel and works in 64-bit?

Unfortunately we haven't Excel data adapters. Please, try to download 64-bit OleDB drivers from Microsoft site.

Thank you.
