Style Designer for Horizontal Alignment and Vertical Alignment

The settings for Horizontal Alignment and Vertical Alignment in the Style Designer do not seem to be used anymore for text boxes. I have a style with Center and Cetner for the alignments, but when I assign a text box that style, it uses the other style properties (color, font, etc) but ignores the alignment settings in the style. Is the style alignment settings supposed to work?

Please, set the 'Allow Use Hor Alignment' and 'Allow Use Vert Alignment' parameters to True in the Style Designer.
