Hinde column in hierarchical band

Hi,

My problem is listed below:-

1) can it be possible for hiding some column in child level data like suppose if in hierarchical band i have one column named "Total" which show on parent level but i want "Total" column is not shown in child level only parent shows the "Total" column but child not shown that column.

I am not sure how much you are getting my point which i described above, if you are clear then please give me the appropriate solution for that.
