Standard in Font size

Post by fkmfkm »

I am using Arial and also Time New Roman as the font size 8. I notice the text generated is bigger and darker(bolder) than in MS Word. How can I make it appear/printed as normal size and weight.

Thank you.

In Standard mode we use GDI+ text drawing mode. We don not rescale font size in this mode and do not change any other settings. GDI+ can't provide text in WYSIWYG with standard settings.

In Typographic mode we use GDI+ also, but with special additional settings. In this mode text looks similar in Preview and on Printer.

WYSIWYG mode use GDI for text drawing. This mode also provide full WYSIWYG. In latest prerelease builds we fully redesign this mode of text drawing.

Thank you.
