Subreport overlaying masterpage objects

In earlier versions (e.g. from Mai, 18th) it was possible to overlay datalines (or other objects) from masterpage with a subreport dataline. Master data and subreport data was printed in same row while both bands were whole page wide.

In newer version this isn´t possible anymore. If I overlay an object from masterpage with subreport the object will be printed just above the subreport objects.

Is this an intended behavior or just a bug ?

I solved this problem by avoiding to overlay these objects...

This was a bug and we fixed it, so if you used it, now you have to use a workaround way.
