Print / Preview Report

I got a Problem printing a report. In the View of the Designer and also as PDF the Document ist printed correctly.

I got 2 Databands

1 Databand (Order)
2. Databand (Products)
childband 1
childband 2
childband 3 ...

When i print the Report the data of Childband 2 overlapes the Data of Childband 1 by about 2-3 pixellines. Also at the end of the fieldtext it looks like 2 pixel lines are missing. This also happens when i set the Field in middle of the databand, with lots of space over and under the field. then also 2-3 pixellines are missing at printing.

This ONLY happens if i print the report. In the Preview everything looks fine. Als as PDF it is correct, only printing is wrong. Maybe an error in the printing engine ?. The report must be correct i think, as i said in preview/PDF everything is fine.

Also i used the Report with different Printers. All the same problem. I also used FREEPDF which shows also the wrong printed data. But your preview/export with pdf, tiff, jpg, bmp etc. is correct. Hmm, strange.

Also if i open the report in 2007.1 only 1 Product fits in the Datasection. like

infotext line 2
infotext line 3
.....
nextside
product 2.
infotext line 1
infotext line 2
infotext line 3
.....

In the Version 2007.2 now fits 2 Products on the Side.

infotext line 3

Has the Calculation of a Side been changed ?. Its the same Report. But why in 2007.1 fits one product and in 2007.2 fits 2 products ?.

Can someone pls help ?

Maybe it has something to do with the Calculation of the Childbands data.

The Text of a Datafield in a childband is overlapped by the following childband for about 2-3 pixels. So you cant read the
Text anymore. It seems that printing another childband after another Childband it starts 0.2 or 0.3 millimeter to early so its overlapped. Could you pls check this asap ?

As i said, in the preview and PDF export everything is fine. its only if you print the report.

It seems that the problem with your report is connected with the setting of the TextQuality property of the Text component in "WYSIWYG". It is our own method to calculate width of the text. Usually it requires much more time for rendering, but in some cases (such as yours) works correctly.

Thx Edward this works better now, but what exactly is the difference between the 3 modes ?.
standard, typographic, or WYSIWYG ?.

Also do i have to change all Texts to that format ? or only the Databands ?
