Designer Question

I've a question regarding the designer.

At the moment i can only modify the designer - using the services configuration. Means - i can turn off features my users doesn't need.

Is it possible to host the designer in my own application to give it the look and feel of my application suite?

We plan to realize Report Designer as Control for design the report in one month.

Hi,

i'm still interested in the report designer as Control. Because thats the only feature we need (in addition to the thousand of great existing features in StimulReport) to choose StimulReport as our new report engine - in favour of ActiveReports.

Can you tell me the status for this new feature?

Sorry still in progress. We plan release new version of StimulReport.Net on this week. After then we can finish version with designer as control (one-two week).

The designer control feature is a good idea however would you please also keep the original designer to save me the rework. I have already integrated it into my MDI application.

All previously written code will work in the new designer as control.

Now the Designer in the StimulReport.Net may be used as Control. Please refer to it as StiDesignerControl. This control is in Stimulsoft.Report.dll.

This feature is available in the build from the March, 5. You can download the build in the prerelease section of our site:
http://www.stimulsoft.com/DownloadsSR.aspx
