updating from lower version to latest

Hi All,
Currently we are using stimulsoft 2006 version. But its not having chart, web and other features. We want to update to latest version, what are the things we should do? Ofcourse, we downloaded the 2008 latest release.

Since this is an urgent issue, pls provide the steps.

Hello,

Please uninstall 2006 version. After then remove Stimulsoft assemblies from GAC (if present). After then install new version of report engine. Update referenced assemblies if needed. After then please check all your reports for correct rendering.

Thanks for your immediate reply. Already our team report developers getting your very good assisstance.

We have more than 1000 reports in our project.(Believe me).

How its possible to check all that by rendering?
Since our product is in live, so anyother way without affecting the existing dlls?
You cant give any assurance without testing the existing mrt files?

Pls suggest any optimized solution.

We have approximately two years passed from the date of release of 2006.4 version. A lot of issues we fixed, also we added many new features. Usually we do not have any issues with rendering reports from our previous versions. We just wanted to be sure that all your reports just working. In case if you meet any issue, please let us know about it immediately. We pay attention to compatibility of our reports a lot. That is why we just need you feedback if some incompatibility you meet.
