Band inside a container doesn't render

Hi,

I have a master detail report the detail is a multi column band.
Master
..Detail1 | Detail2 | Detail3

I would like the details to be indented but since it is a multi column band it doesn't work to make an indent in the first column as this means that all columns indent.

So I was trying to put the multi column band inside a container which was indented.
But even though I changed nothing else the multi column band wouldn't display any data anymore.

So my question is:
* What do I need to change to allow a band to still display the same data inside a container than outside of it?
* Is there a better way to indent a multi column band?

Hello Pat,

As i understand you need indent Databand with columns together with HieararchicalBand? Please see attached sample report.
