Bug: Control Names and Validation Issue

You can name components on a report so that they will prevent the report loading. For example you can give a text box the name of ":This Will Cause A Crash:". And indeed it wall cause a crash and prevent the report from loading. Is it possible to validate that the names contain only letters and numbers, no spaces and punctuation and do not start with a number please?
