Dear Support,

Please note this bug;

A) Create a text variable
B) Set Init by expression and enter in Today.ToString("Y")
C) Set Request from user
D) Set Allow User Values

Preview the report. The text box shows Today.ToString("Y") instead of 2012.
Any render text shows 2012
Filters do not work when using this variable

The problem is fixed. The patch is available in prerelease build of on 13 November 2012.
