Rendering issues on word export

Post by csbrogi »

Hello,
I am using StimulSoft for generating a more complex document, consisting of some table, and there I found some issues when exporting to word:
the exported word-document is based on the preview document, but since the layout cannot be exactly the same for preview and word some issues occure:
- If the table is broken in preview, a gap is displayed in the resulting word document (see "table splitted)
- Sometimes the last line is cut (see "Truncated Table")

Is there a way to improve the output?

Regards,
Clemens

Hi,

here are the files

if you take a look at the files, could you please also try to find out, why I had to move the SubReport5 element on page1 up a little bit to align it with SubReport1?

Thanks
Clemens

Please add an empty Page Header with 2,5mm Height. It is needed to correct Word rounding.

Thank you.

Hello,

As far as I figured out this works best if I use a footer and disable the "Use Page Headers and Footers" option on export.
But disabling Headers and footers makes it impossible to insert text in the generated document. Will you improve the word export.IMHO rendering should be correct in (allmost) evrey configuration not only under certain conditions.

Hello.

Unfortunately, we can't predict what size of component will be in the Word document.
So we have these parameters in the Word export and can't ensure the right sizes in the final document.

You could see such problem in the attached Excel document when change zoom level from 50% to 200%. The height of the text always will be different.
