Email?

Hi,

I think I miss something. How can I directly email from the preview window? What I'm looking for is export to PDF with directly starting the emailclient (outlook) to send the report. I put the email 'switch' on under the save menu, but it doesn't show me outlook. It only seems to work for .mdc format. Am I doing something wrong?
I'm using the lastest version (2008.2.278.0).

Yes, I saw also this little bug.

Just a remark : in our view, we prefer the previous behavior with two menu items 'Export' and 'Send by e-mail'. We think that the email button to check is not very instinctive. A poll : who prefer the previous behavior to send an email ?

In the two cases, if we want to send an email, why you ask a destination folder ? Can't you save it to a temp folder and attach the document to the email directly ?

I agree with you that the previous behavior was better and more intuitive.

In latest prerelease build (from 25 September) we return to old behavior of Viewer.
