Re: Grouping From String

Thank you. This appears to be working well, but if I have more than 1 type of lock, the grouping is not showing correctly. For example, if you go into the Hardware table, and change the name of some of the Lock Illinois Cam items to Lock Illinois Cam Vertical, there should be 2 sets of key numbers, 1 for each lock type. I can't seem to get the group header to work in that way. The grouping shows in the detail, but not in the list at the bottom.

Thanks,
Tim S.

Hello,

It is difficult to say what is the problem, because we do not quite understand the logic of your report. You use additional filters for the data of the data band.
We suggested you a solution how this can be done.

Thank you.

This works well, but now that we've used it for a while, there are 2 issues remaining:
1. When using multiple types of locks, it doesn't separate them according to the grouping criteria, so the list of numbers is not separated by lock type.
2. The key numbers need to be sorted ascending, and I can't seem to find a way to make that work.

There is a datasource to demonstrate the issues here.

Sorry for the delay, I appreciate any help that can be provided.

Hello.

Sorry, but we can't see the full picture of your problem.
Could you try to describe what report do you need to create once again.
Please, try to do it with other words.

Thank you.
