Opening up a javascript function from hyperlink data bind

I am able to make data-text hyperlink (through interaction). I would like to call simple window.open to launch a new window from it. I am unable to do it. Please help.

Going through the documentation and looking at another similar topic, javascript window calls are not supported yet. Hope this will be added in future, making it more interactive and useful.

There are options that allow to open hyperlink in the new frame or on the new browser tab.
Unfortunately, JavaScript isn't supported now.

Now that I own source code, I am hoping to make this possible. I have already had success in calling javascript (jquery mobile framework popup box) from silverlight designer. I am loving it even more.
