Import from Rich Text Format Tool only does plain text?

I have used the Import from Rich Text Format Tool, using a document created in Microsoft Word, saved as RTF. It includes some basic formatting (right\left align, bold, italics), but none of it is in the imported report ... because it creates the text in a basic Text Box control.

Why does it not use the Rich Text Control?

Also, there seems to be a problem with the Rich Text control, because when I add a Rich Text control to my imported report, and copy the text into it, and fix up the formatting, it does not display the font correctly - displays perfect in the popup Rich Text editior, but the font is changed in the main report screen, and very difficult to read, and it prints in this same strange font.

So, even if the Import tool did use the Rich Text Control, it seems it would not be usable anyway.

Is there a way to get this working (import and rich text)?

Hello.

This tool was made to convert report template from Rich Text document to set of bands and plain text components.
It's impossible to create report with RichText components. You should add formating then manually.
