Is it possible to define margins between panels without using some kind of spacer elements ?

Sorry for ambiguous question.
The topic is primary related to the designer. I have two tables in my report, a short info table and the main report. The info table data band is in a panel.
Without an additional spacer element (red arrows) between the panel and the main report data band, both tables are glued together in the viewer.

You can use the additional band for the gap between necessary components. For example ChildBand component.
