Hi,
I am looking for help with ordering rows within a column. The report I am working on is for school reports, and I have been asked to structure the reports to appear like this:
Mathematics, Reading and Writing need to be static on every report, as all pupils are studying those lessons. Also, they're the only lessons with the extra grading columns.
The trouble I am having is I don't know how to set them to be static in their own grid, and not display below with the other subjects. All of the subjects are in the same MainData table, meaning that when I preview my existing template, those 3 lessons will appear in the bottom list.
I have attached the .mrt file. I have created the static grid just for reference, and realise that it is not set up in the correct way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
Jon

Re: Static Row Ordering
Hello,
It is difficult to say something about the optional solution for this task without test data. As a way you can try to use the CrossTab or Cross-Data component.
Can you please send us a test data for your report for analysis.
Thank you.

Hi Aleksey,
Thanks for replying. Could you tell me how to provide test data? Also, I am using stimulsoft through an application called Engage, would that cause any compatibility problems for testing?
Thanks again

Re: Static Row Ordering
Hello.
I am sorry if my reply was crude.
However, I would like to clarify our position. According to our support policy the customers of our customers are not our customers.
For example, a company purchases our product to integrate into the application. Then the company sells their application to a customer. The customer finds a problem. He/she sends a bug report to the manufacturer who is our customer. If the issue is related with our product the manufacturer who is our customer sends the report to us. We fix it. Why we follow such rules of tech support? Because we do not know how the customer uses our product in their application.
Thank you.
