Designer allows fields with same name

Using version 2013.2.1700.0.

The designer allows creation of fields with the same name (eg. "Text1" and "Text1").

When I generate the report, I receive the error "CS0111: Type "Reports.Report" already defines a member called "Text1__GetValue" with the same parameter types".
