Out of memory when printing big report

Post by Niqu »

Hello again,

First of all - I am working on the newest release version.
My problem is, that my application works as 32bit process. When I want to do "Preview" on a big report it work acceptably, but when I want to print it (for example to .xps or to my printer) I got "OutOfMemoryException". Can you do something with it? Or there is maybe some options, that will make report generating slower, but not OutOfMemoryException?

Of course I add simple project and report.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Hello.

You will get the Out Of Memory exception too if scroll down the pages of the report.
This is a peculiarity of Wpf technology.
We are trying to work around the problem now.
We will let you know about results.

Thank you.

Hello,
I am writing, becouse after good sleep I realized where is my problem. First of all - I am not insane, I do not want to print 700 pages on printer. I was doing it to print document by PDFCreator. But I realized, that I can use "Export" option. And it seems work fine.

So I do not see a problem now. Sorry for troubles.

PS. But if something change in this topic I will be happy to know.
