i18n, load kvp like dictionary in template

The situation as follows.

I got an xml stream with data and a xsd to create a report with the designer tool. So far so good. I the report i would like to have some i18n text. So tried the following:

External NL file (Key and value):
name=Naam
company=Bedrijf

I tried to find a solution to add this file to the report., but coudn't find it.

Second attempt was to extend my xsd with key value elements to filter them by key out of the datasource. So when i do a preview on my data source, i see two columns named 'key' and 'value' but no i want to get a specific value out of the datasource with the key column or whatever.

Is there a way to fix this? Or is there an different way?
