Collapsing the space taken by hidden text

I watched the Columns property video. It looks as if it repeats rows across columns on the page. But that's not what my report does, mine reports fields of a single row across columns.

Would it be possible for you to create a sample report that outputs the data as I've asked? My company has had two paid subscriptions (Stimulsoft.Ultimate and Stimulsoft.Web) and has renewed them each year for the past several years.
