Horizontal line size problem/bug?
Horizontal line size problem/bug?
When using HrizontalLinePrimitive, property "size" also extends line in horizontal direction. So, if you have text with border size=1 and you add a horizontal line with size=5 (bold effect of bootom border), this bottom line is wider than text border. Same goes to vertical primitive(in vertical direction)
Is it possible to fix this behavior?

Re: Horizontal line size problem/bug?
Hello.
By default, we use square line caps to avoid problem like on the image. Unfortunately, it's impossible to change this behavior now.
Thank you.

Re: Horizontal line size problem/bug?
checked. Only "horizontalLine":
size=10
endcap: width=60, color=Black, Fill= true, height=60, style=Square
you will see that endacp is correctly rendered, but line is extended. So you see something like this:
--|- (endacp = |, after endcap, there is a trailer). Endacp "end" is right aligned with line handle. But because line size is 5, line is extended (trailer) in right direction.
It doesn't work as you explained in a picture.

Re: Horizontal line size problem/bug?
I attached an image, created with online Fx designer on your page. Please note lest/right line offsets. End cap is AFAIK correctly positioned(as expected).

Re: Horizontal line size problem/bug?
When can we expect a fix?
I just don't understand. After installation, in folder "samples", I have 3 subfolders, "Flash", "HTML" and "HTML5". Only "Flash" and "HTML5" have "designer" capability. So with my licensed product I believe that I can use ether "flash" or "html5 " designer, right?
This problem is exposed in "flash" designer, which is AFAIK the same as on your page on "flex" reporter, right?
Sorry for inconvenience, I am new to this great product and I just need some time to get used to it.

Re: Horizontal line size problem/bug?
Hello.
The flex.stimulsoft.com is a demo site of the completely different product. It's Reports.Fx for Flex.
There is used completely different report engine which is written in Flex. In the Reports.Web product all reports are rendered with .Net engine.
The Flex engine has some technical limitation that do not allow to implement some features there.
You should not test your reports on the Reports.Fx for Flex Demo site.
Thank you.
