PDF bad font width after exportpdf

Post by krajesh@acsysindia.com »

Hi , i often get bad pdf font widths (like /Widths [0 0 0 0 0 0 ... for all font information inside PDF file) when i create pdf using exportpdf method. I donot embed fonts as it increases file size. This issue doesnot happen all the time, many times I get a good PDF and sometimes i receive a bad one. Because of this bad width all the characters when PDF viewed are printed one on above eachother making it look like a junk PDF. Also Am not able to simulate this issue as it occurs at a very rare occasion.

Does anyone had similar issues? Does this issue has anything relation to GDI32.dll file on the system where stimulsoft is running? please someone help me on this.

Hello,

Which version of Stimulsoft Reports you are use?
We made some improvements in that direction about a year ago.
Please check the latest build or last release version (2008.2).

Thank you.

Hello,

There are no obsolete properties. Some properties have been changed on new properties, but old properties will be automatically converted to new ones and there are no problems when rendering a report.

Thank you.
