PDF format is increased to 1.25MB

Hi,

I am using Stimulsoft reporting tool for .net 2005, I creating the single page report , which contains the Image(EMF file) of size 50k. When I am exporting the report in PDF format then PDF size is increased to 1.25 MB.
Please suggest me how I can keep the PDF size between 100-200K.

Hi,

What image settings are you using when exporting to PDF (Image Resolution and Image Quality %)

The higher the Image Resolution DPI the larger the image size will be exported as into the PDF creating a larger file size.

Hello,

In the version 2009.1 in PDF-export available a new image compression method - "Flate" (lossless compression).
Using this method, in some cases, files are created are much smaller.
This method is well suited for charts and metafiles.
