Master-Detail and SQL Command

Dear friends

i have a table for teacher and another table for his/her teaching background.

i use master detail but if a teacher doesn't have any background , the report use an empty place for it , but i want that this place is remove.
and how i can pass an SQL Command to report.

i really confused. (it is really different from crystal report)
would you please give me a complete sample.

please any body can help me!

i found the SQL command but when i use Master Detail , it show me only the Masters that have Details and don't display all masters.
how i can fix it ?

I found it.

you can right click on master and select "print if detail empty"
