Filters not working if data band is in container

Hi All
As I’m new to this tool I not sure if there is a problem or it’s just something I’m missing.

I have a data band which when placed on the page filters data according to my filter condition.
However when I place the data band inside a container the filter no longer has an effect.
Can anyone tell me what I’m missing

Please set ResetDataSource property of the DataBand in true. In that case the filter will work.

It is a restriction of the report engine.

p.s. In version 2008.1 this problem solved.

Nope did not get reply via ticket system.. suspect my spam filter is working to hard and needs a rest

Have sorted problem with spam filter and note responce to all issues were timely and helpfull.
