Master detail report with detail across and autosizing master

Hi,
Id like to build a report with a master (layers) and a detail (documents). Each line has to start with the layername and all its documents should show next to the layer, across the rest of the page and creating new lines if neccesary:

Layer1.........Doc1 Doc2 Doc3
...................Doc4 Doc5 Doc6
Layer2.........Doc1
Layer3.........Doc1 Doc2

(forget the dots from the example here, just there for outlining)

The problem is that i cannot get the first data band (containing the layername and the container with the related data band) to resize with the second (related) databand. The second databand has 3 colums across/down

I tried the obvious (can grow, can shrink). If I use can-shrink, it always shrinks back to 1 line, and does not resize according to the detail databand or container.

Can anyone help with this problem.

Please open the attached report in the 'Demo' sample application which comes with a standard installation of Stimulsoft Reports.Net. for this just press 'Design' button and open the report.
