Conditional Formatting

Post by MikeC »

I have a number field that may be positive or negative. I have the text formatting set to show negative values as (1234) and they display properly.

I'd also like the negative numbers to be red (anything less than zero).

I "thought" that using the Conditions would work (the toolbar button that looks like a highlighter). However when I set a condition to set the color to red for values less than zero it doesn't work.

What needs to be done to make conditional formatting work?

Thanks

Hello,

You can see the section "Report Internals -> Conditions formating" in the documentation.
Also see an example in the attached file.

Tnahk you.

That's what I tried and it doesn't work. The fields have a small icon in the bottom left corner, but negative values don't show up in the formatting that I selected.

I also can't view the attached report-the report writer is embedded into another software product and I don't have access to it to open reports other than what I write.

Thanks.

Hello,

Can you please describe your task in details? And, if possible, send us a report sample.
Which version of Stimulsoft Reports do you use?

Thank you.
