Hi Guys,
I am working on a chart mapping Current/Expected progress for children through a school using Reports.Net Designer 2011.03.
Currently, my chart is working brilliantly, I have a standard value (QCA Points) on the Y Axis and Chronological markers along the X Axis.
I would, however, like to add the physical grades alongside the standard values on the Y Axis, but i have found that the Text Before Property in the Area > Labels Section does not allow me to Dynamically fill in the Physical Grades from a Data Column in my Data Source.
I would not be happy trying to hard code them due to the having the Auto Range property enabled.
Is there any way i can force the Text Before / After Property to use the Column from the Data Source? - Or to have 2 Y Axis columns displaying the 2 different values?
Thanks in Advance,
Simon

Hello, Simon.
Also, please, describe what do you want to get with examples.
Thank you.
Could you send us a sample report template with this chart and a sample data for report to reproduce it.SWhitty wrote:I am working on a chart mapping Current/Expected progress for children through a school using Reports.Net Designer 2011.03.

Re: Dynamic Chart Axis Text
Hi, thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I have mocked up a version of my graph and some CSV Mock Data (my usual connection will be SQL.)
The fileds in Red need to reflect the contents of the Y7Grades and Y11Grades columns in my data source. I would need the Y7Grade values to appear on my Left Y Axis and the Y11Grade to appear in the Right Y Axis. The standard Y Axis reflected the Points value attached to each grade, this must stay on the report.
As i cannot use {} to dynamically add the Y7/11Grades to the Y axis using the Text Before/After properties on the graph, i wondered if you could tell me how to force this, if it is possible at all.

Re: Dynamic Chart Axis Text
Hello.
The Chart is very complicated component.
Unfortunately, there is no ability to change axis labels dynamically.
We've added this feature to our to-do list but will consider the possibility of its implementation after release.
Thank you.
