StiDataColumn Collection Editor

Post by J_S »

I found a bug in the new stidatacolumn collection editor when editing stiuserdata.

Wen adding a new member and type in the name, the values of NameInSource and Alias are not automatically updated.

Drag a StiUserData to a form
In the properties window click on the columns property, so the StiDataColumn Collection Editor is shown
Click the Add button
In the previous releases, when you type a text in the (Name) property, the (Alias) and (NameInSource) properties automatically took over the value of the (Name) property.
In the new release this functionallity is gone, and that is very annoying because you have to type in the value 3 times

If it wasn't the previous release, it is the release before that one.
I cannot install old releases on my machine.

It is such a small thing, but if you have to type in every property three times it becomes verry annoying when you work a lot with the userdata controls.

Best regards

Hello,

We have fix this problem. Some time ago we have changed behavior (which you required) to current state to fix some additional problems. Now we have fixed this problems in other way and set back behavior of StiDataColumn editor. Changes will be available in next prerelease build.

Thank you.
