Report Generator and Default Cell Properties

Hi,

using report generator to produce lists of data is there a way to adjust the default values of new cells I drag from data source to the databand?
Specifically, I would like to have property CanGrow and GrowToHeight default value=True instead of False.

Any hints?

We are currently investigating the issue. Could you specify a list of the components for which you need to change the properties that were predefined by default.

Hello,

basically I have an xml-file as datasource. I place a header-band and a data-band for the report and drag variables(cells?) from the datasource to header-band or data-band.
For each of these cells I would like to have a way to define the default properties like Text Alignment, Text Margin, Behaviour CanGrow, GrowToHeight so that they have these default values as soon as I drop them on the header-band or data-band.

I hope this makes it more clear?

Thank you for your explanation. Unfortunately you can't set properties depending from dragged value. In your case more easy to use report styles, but you need set it manually.
