Help with adding XML-Data Source in WebDesigner

Hello guys,

i'm trying to add an XML-File as Datasource to a Report. So i click new Connection, add the URl to the XML-File, leave the XSD field empty, cause i dont have one, and click ok. Then i want to click the "synchronize" like in the Videos, but ther is no such button. Am I doing something wrong? Is a XSD-File required for it to work?
