Suggestion for the editor

Hi,

could it be possible to use the [Esc]-Key to wander upwards within the report-tree? I would love to be able to press [Esc] to select the container the actually selected object is contained in. This a behaviour often available in UI-Editors...

See the following example:

Pressing [Esc] in this example would select DataBand2. A further [Esc] would then select Panel1 and so on until reaching the report as the root.

I hope you understand what I mean, maybe find it useful too and can include it in one of your next updates!

Thank you for the request. It is good feature, but on current designer it is remain as is. On current moment we hard working on the new designer V2 and this feature will be added in it.

Is there a list of new features somewhere that will be implemented in V2? Just curious...

First of all in the release we will add the new designer for WPF. The highlights are:
- Huge performance optimization;
- Radically redesigned user interface;
- Editing forms of components will be simplified and improved;
- Ability to work with very large reports (speed optimization)...
