Variable from table with multiple selection

I have a report with several tables (lets say, customer --< category --< product)
There are variables in the report that enable to select data from table and present in comboBoxes (with dependent values) in report to allow selection of data, but only ONE record can be selected in each combo.

How is possible to allow multiple selection in each comboBox?

You should change the Type of variable from Value to List.

But we can still connect that variable with another to select only, for example, products that belongs to a specific category, selected in another variable first?

Unfortunately, it's impossible to use List variables with Dependent value feature.
This task in in our to-do list.
