Question Regarding Versions

Post by Mike Simpkins »

I am currently running Stimulsoft Reports.Net customized for POSitive Retail Manager. I am curious what benefits I would gain from purchasing the full version of Reports.Net. Also, what advantage do I gain from purchasing Reports.Net with the source code? Assuming I did purchase the full Reports.Net, would I be able to write customized redports for the POSitive Retail Manager (which uses Microsoft SQL Server 2005 for it's database engine)?

Let me know your thoughts.

Hello,
I am currently running Stimulsoft Reports.Net customized for POSitive Retail Manager. I am curious what benefits I would gain from purchasing the full version of Reports.Net.
Do I understand you correct that you use Stimulsoft Reports as part of POSitive Retail Manager application? If so, then purchasing our product you would be able to write your own application according to your requirements.
Also, what advantage do I gain from purchasing Reports.Net with the source code?
You can customize the code according to your requirements.
You can know more about how the reporting tool works.
You can make changes using code.
It is a protection from various force-majeure events.
Assuming I did purchase the full Reports.Net, would I be able to write customized redports for the POSitive Retail Manager (which uses Microsoft SQL Server 2005 for it's database engine)?
Sorry but we do not know how POSitive Retail Manager works so it is hard to answer your question.

Thank you.

I suppose if I can connect to the SQL data, then I can write the report. Whether or not it is implemented within POSitive Retail Manager is of no lasting consequence. I suppose I should talk to your sales team.

Hello Mike,

Adapter for MS SQL Server integrated to Stimulsoft Reports.Net core. So if data placed in standard tables, views or stored procedures you can connect to it. Also you can get trial version of our software from our website for testing.

Thank you.
