Hi,
I've got a particular scenario where I would like to have the possibility to have a set of series for a chart, let's say 20 different series. Each of these series it's possible that no data is coming or the Data coming is "empty". Is there a way where I can decide which series to be shown and which ones stay hidden for the user?
for example, an employee can be fired for 20 different reasons, but I'm looking the data for a period and there has been only 3 different reasons to fire some employee. I would like to have only the series corresponding to the reasons appearing on this period and the others should stay hidden.
Is there any way to have this behaviour??
Thanks in advance.

Hello.
Maybe you could use the Auto Series feature if all your data in one data source and in one column.
Also if there is no data the series will not be shown.
Thank you.

Re: Hide or show series on a chart
Hi Aleksey,
This seems not to be what I need. I need to have as argument, periods and as values, number of "whatever" per each category. So, we have 10 categories, I need 10 series. Each serie should have as title the category and as argument periods (Values are allways a sum, coming directly on the dataset).
So, Data is 3 columns:
- Period (Argument)
- Number of "whatever" (Values)
- Category (Each serie)
Even more, where can I find those properties? I checked on chart properties and nowhere I can find properties listed on the link you provide.
Thanks in advance.
