Designer: disable "New report", "Open report" and others

In the designer (not designer control) i want to disable some functionalities such as "New report", "Open report" and so on.

May i do this?

If not possible, it would be ok too if, when the user chooses (say) "New report", i may send a message stating "Action not allowed" and then stop the operation.

You can hide any menu item or toolbar item in report designer. Please see sample project Designer Management from standard delivery.
